"God Is Not a Christian"

I've often said that "Christ was not a 'Christian,'" and that man created God in his image.
Here's an inspiring article:

By Desmond Tutu

1984 Nobel Peace Prize winner
God Is Not a Christian

The following is excerpted from the Archbishop Desmond Tutu's new book, God Is Not A Christian: And Other Provocations.

This talk also comes from a forum in Britain, where Tutu addressed leaders of different faiths during a mission to the city of Birmingham in 1989.

"I Can’t Think!"

Here's a great article from Newsweek: I Can’t Think! — The Twitterization of our culture has revolutionized our lives, but with an unintended consequence—our overloaded brains freeze when we have to make decisions. It's all more reason to strive for balance in our complicated, multi-taxed lives, particularly when it's our conscious intention to stay focused, and live more moments of each day — in the present!

"Becoming an Integrated Soul"

It's the topic I'll be presenting on my upcoming Spring Tour. In the way that the Universe does conspire to present whatever is relevant or forthcoming, I just responded to a very thoughtful post on the Discussion Forum, another thread from increasing interest in "Changing the Past" — "Changing Things." It's a wonderful example of growing trust that folks are sensing, re. their true nature!

Living With Regrets

Q: Can you actually change the past so that an event never happened?

A: It's truly a matter of perception. I can go there by merging with a your timeless consciousness and travel beyond time to adjust things, ie, shift perceptions. Perception does create—and change—reality. This process sets in motion a wave of change that flows into the present and future. This also helps to neutralize the negative residue that you carry when you live with regret.

Imagining the Tenth Dimension

This certainly is a very clever explanation of our multi-dimensional Universe (and beyond!) — analogies that describe how it is that we're able to "go beyond time" — quite relevant to how I make use of doing so in consultations.

I found this analogy especially intriguing: The "two-dimensional 'flatlander' ant walking along the newspaper. Then to fold his two-dimensional world to the 3rd dimension — he would magically disappear. I wonder if this would serve as an explanation for the phenomena of "bi-locating?" Just a thought...

Scientists Discover Time Teleportation [Science]

Folks over on the Discussion Forum ("Changing the Past") are extremely focused on finding a way to time-travel to the past — to change it — via some sort of time machine (rather than through their timeless consciousness). This article speculates about travel to the future, but nonetheless, I posted it there for their general interest:

"Dialogue with Gentleness"

I enjoyed watching Charlie Rose's interview with Karen Armstrong, particularly regarding how we need to dialogue with each other these days:

CHARLIE ROSE: Socrates said conduct dialogue with gentleness.

"Edith Ego" Is Having a Rough Time...

Edith Ego is refusing to go into "time-out." She's the thoughts in my head that are the most susceptible to the polarizing, divisive effects of encountering (and hearing about) folks who hold differing beliefs. Edith has a troubling need to make others wrong — for her to feel right. She wants to lower others — to elevate herself.
