Dear Einstein, Do Scientists Pray?

(I like Einstein's distinction between a "religious feeling of a special sort, which is surely quite different from the religiosity of someone more naive.")

In January of 1936, a young girl named Phyllis wrote to Albert Einstein on behalf of her Sunday school class, and asked, "Do scientists pray?" Her letter, and Einstein's reply, can be read below.

My dear Dr. Einstein,

Amelia Earhart, Anti-Freckle Cream — and Her Flight

I first got to know Amelia (so to speak) when I read a devoted follower of hers years ago. He's one of many around the world, who continue to investigate the mysterious disappearance of her plane 75 years ago, during an attempted flight around the world. Here (below) is my account of the session that I included in Beyond Boundaries, the Adventures of a Seer.

It details a fascinating journey-beyond-time that I took when I merged with the timeless (streaming) consciousness of the famed aviatrix.

"Can You Hear Me Now, Joe?"

A new client in Chicago recently posted this delightfully written testimonial on her own blog site. She added this, concerning irises - (what do you know!)

The word Iris comes from the greek word Rainbow because they come in so many colors. The Greek Goddess Iris, is the messenger of the gods and the personification of the rainbow, she acted as the link between heaven and earth. Purple Iris were used to summon her on graves and in flower beds.

Mindfulness and Belly Fat

Talk about a mind/body connection! Personally, I've recently done a personal "re-boot"— reinserting some old habits (good ones) back into my daily routine. An important one has to do with getting back to my TM (Transcendental Meditation) practice, even while I'm on the road. Just 20 minutes, first thing, while brewing (or going out for) my morning coffee. I can't believe the difference it makes in my day — I'm more focused, more present, and my choices are more conscious.

And who knew! — Research is showing that meditation helps reduce belly fat! Whoa...

Oprah Asks Depak Chopra About Death

I enjoyed watching Oprah's interview with Depak Chopra on her OWN network. Meeting up in India, she asks him, "Where to you go when you die?"

His response: "The moment you 'die' — you don't go anywhere. That's the moment that you fetch your thoughts, fetch your creativity, imagination, insight, intuition — you simply stop using the physical body for communication."

Remote Viewing to the Rescue!

Here's a great example of the relevant and effective use of Remote Viewing, an exercise that I take apprentices through in the Illuminations Apprenticeship Program. This subject will also included in the curriculum for the online Intuition Advancement Series.

This was sent to me from an apprentice alumna:

Dream Interpretation

In my earliest classes, I used to reference Ann Faraday's book, "The Dream Game," a wonderful primer for dream interpretation. Still a favorite quote: "Dreams represent the unconscious giving us back what the heart recorded, but the mind rationalized away."

Ghost Busting

Releasing "earthbound" souls has never been my forte. However, when clients ask me how to deal with unwanted energies, those existing on lower frequencies (outside my bandwidth)— my reply is always the same: "It all depends upon how you're occupying your own space!"

"Making Your Ideas a Reality"

Sometimes I have a hard time detecting a certain spark in a client — a sense of wonder...passion...curiosity. Here's a great suggestion from an article in "O" Magazine by Lindsy Van Gelder. She suggests using a wonderful sort of mantra to "Cultivate Wonder!"
