Children who come in remembering

Chris is the son of Denis and Dorrett, Louise's hosts and coordinators who lived in Holland at the time. He is another child who remembered that he met Louise before he was born! He tried to go home with her that night.

When Louise first introduced Connor to his pregnant mother, he projected a long list of events that he knew would be occurring after his birth. His mother reported that three items on the list did transpire, all in the same day, when Connor was two months old. The events: an ice cream truck driving by, a crib mobile tilted off balance, and a dog hitting it's head. (The dog had sneezed so hard, he hit his head on the floor. Connor was lying in his crib, laughing hysterically!)

Louise introduced Sophia to her mother, Jane (a long-time client and apprentice) during a consultation in the early 1990s...before mom-to-be ever met dad-to-be—long before she was born. Years later, when Jane introduced 9-month-old Sophia to Louise, the baby could not stop laughing—hysterically—every time she looked at her. Typically shy, Sophie had never reacted this way to strangers. Jane said, "I guess she's laughing because you're not a stranger! She remembers you!"
