We have already talked about the possibility of changing the past. Many desire to do so. The question now is HOW TO.
In PART I, the consensus is that astral projection is the most direct and practical way to. I agree with that.
How many of you can astral project at will? I think this is something we all desire.
I have been able to do it sporatically, which is why I have not been able to change anything in the past on a consistent basis. It is my goal, and probably the goal of many of you to be able to do it on a regular basis to have some sense on continuity.
So, here is where we can share to help each other in achieving time travel through astral projection and making it a regular part of our lives.
By the way, Louise has some wonderful insights into it.
RELAX your whole body. It is easier said than done, believe me. We've got to lay aside the demands and pressures of the day and go into an entirely different mode. Whatever was messed up during the day can always be fixed.
And, finally, total joy is yours. You deserve it. Never say that it's too good to happen to you.
Let's hear some more comments from you. We're looking forward to it.

Change the past
I also am seeking how to change the actual past not just my view of it. I don't care about "butterfly effects" or "grandfather paradoxes" I need and want real solutions not excuses about consequences, I don't care about "butterfly effects" or "grandfather paradoxes" I need a real change not just perspective. Please if anyone has actual ways through astral travel contact me.
Solid AP method
The method I'm playing with now I found in a rather great e-book called Our Ultimate Reality. Essentially it explains that imagination is actually us creating within the inner spheres of reality, and if we can fully immerse ourself in one of our imaginings, it will serve as a viable method for astral projection. Lay down, do the relaxation exercises you're already working with, and choose a scene that interests you and in which you can participate. Employ as many of your five senses as realistically as possible in this imaginary scenario and keep all your focus in it for as long as you can. Really feel that you're an integral part of the scene already, and as your body falls asleep you'll find that your consciousness is fully there and the scene takes on a life of its own! This method worked for me on my very first try, and the only reason I'm still on this time-line is because I got nervous and haven't really tried again...
I guess it's like the saying "We're more afraid of our light than our darkness"...
This method is very effective if you have a vivid imagination.
Tell me what y'all think! :)
Read it carefully

I really enjoyed this article
I really enjoyed this article and everything you wrote in it and I agree that time travels. This is why I want to take full advantage of the time I got and live my life as I am supposed to.
I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN
But you know what? It's sort of like an experience of falling off of a horse. In England about 3 years ago a friend wanted to take me horseback riding. I love horses....I like to pet them and make them enjoy the ride as much as myself. Anyway....my saddle started slanting too much toward the left and I rolled off the horse just as we were about to climb a hill....I think I freaked out a bit. But the other night I dreamed about riding a horse again with no problem. The saddle was very secure. When it comes to the real thing, we tend to freak out. Ok, let's then talk about changing our past and going into new timelines....First of all, it is like going into uncharted territory. And even though it has probably been done time and time again, we are not as comfortable with it as we had hoped we would be. The point then is.....get back on the horse. Try again. Another thing that might be my issue is.....It just seems too good to be true....But....God.....whose definition is, to me, Goodness, wants only the best for all of us. It is our right to have heaven on earth.........in the past, in the present, and in the future..... I think you are very much on the right track. I wish you the very best........and I'll be basically using the same procedures. Take care.
Nonlinear time, etc.
A lot of the time, in dreams I act as though I were awake because I think I am awake! I think if we handle things well in dreams, we can handle it in real life for the most part. I know it's possible because my subconscious demonstrated it via...well..
One morning I woke up at 12, missing brunch with my friend. She called up and I apologized, I went online like I do every morning, took a shower, and went to class. When I got back from class, I took a quick nap, and when I awoke, it was 9 am.
.....O_O. I was very confused.
Then in my half-awake state I heard a voice that said "it's possible, it's just harder than you think"
Seems incredible, and I'm constantly taken aback by these things. The message seems to be...I need vastly more control than I have currently to succeed at this....
in desperate need to turn back time...
i am very interested in how you were able to travel back in time philippides....can you give me some advice, perhaps a step-by-step method on how to turn back time?
your enlightenment regarding this matter will be very much appreciated...
I THINK IT IS A MATTER OF BALANCE ALSO
Astral Dynamics is really a great book. It is written by Robert Bruce. This is the desired balance. First of all relax, relax, relax. Relax completely. What keeps us from relaxing completely? Much of it is worrying about tomorrow or being overwhelmed about the cares of the moment. It we can overcome that, we will well be on our way. It is comparable to studying vocal singing. The Italians say that 90% of it has to do with breathing. Well, I'm thinking that in Astral Projection 90% of it has to do with relaxing. Then, try to only get into a light trance. If you get into too deep a trance, you'll fall asleep and won't have memory recall of what took place. Keeping your breathing steady is one good way to stay mentally awake while the body is falling asleep. One suggestion in the book is to imagine climbing a rope. Actually, what I like to do is to imagine magnetic bars on the rope to hold on to. It really gives a nice sensation. You can just about feel your astral body vibrating and wanting to move.
How are you coming along
How are you coming along with your time travel?
Changing your mind in the past
This is my first post and I have been very interested and very excited that people believe what I believe.
My question is that is it possible to change yourself mentally in the past, so that your past self will make better decisions without your present self having to being there. For instance, I have wanted to change how I handled myself while in middle school. Back then I wasn't as interested in things like sports, and that has really affected me more than I thought it would have.
Is it possible to go back in the past and affect my younger self to put much, much more commitment into sports and so that I can become the athlete I should have been with just one visit? Or would it take multiple visits to fix every important event throughout this time period?
And whenever I am listening to certain music (some rap and rock music), I always get these images in my head of having this dream life that would seemingly be the product of changing the past in the way I mentioned in the paragraph above and becoming a super athlete. Of course these images have never actually occurred. Do these images have any special significances or are they just my imaginations and dreams?
Hopefully, you can answer these questions for me.
This post might also be in another thread on the same topic.
WOW THAT IS GOOD FOOD FOR THOUGHT
That is a loaded question, but this is what I think we are thinking about. If our present mental mind (which has matured since our youth) can go back and feel what our mental mind was like in our youth and influence our younger self to make better decisions on its own without our "present" self having to be there. I suppose it would be close to our "present" self meeting our "younger" self and giving it advice. I certainly believe it is not only feasible but has been done before. I don't know if it would take only one visit, possibly, or several to make this significant change. I do know it can be done. What I do think is that after you have visited your younger self you will intuitively know if that has done the job or if it will take further visits. I think that by the change in your present self you will know. I hope we will have more discussions along this line of thought. Did I sort of hint toward what your question was? I hope. Or perhaps another possibility is for our "present" self to merge into our "younger" self. Yet still, it would amount to our "present" self advising our "younger" self.
this might get more complex...
Now let's say I have given my "younger" self the more than enough advice which has changed my life drastically and the events and of my life were different in this timeline than they were in this timeline. What will my memory of those be? Will I have a feeling of "been there, done that" if I do something in the new timeline that I didn't do in this one? For example, let's say this change of thought eventually leads to me rafting the Colorado River with my friends in the new timeline, which I couldn't do in this timeline because I broke my arm a week before we left for the trip, would I be able to go on the trip a second time and say "I remember this rapid, it was so much fun" or would it look like I had had amnesia? And what is the best plan of action for contacting my "younger" self? I imagine I could try to get my "younger" self to maybe write something down, but I would need a way to write down and remember everything I want myself to do in the past and I probably would have to go back in time several times to try and make sure I am on track. Trust me, I would definitely know if I changed something, or would I? Would I have two different versions of one event or would the "older" version of the event be erased from my memory? This is a somewhat long post so I'll just ask one more question: would it be possible to just go back in time and replay every single event and just stay in that time forever, which would be much more effective, or would that take too much work and focus than I can probably handle?
WOW, THOSE ARE LOADED QUESTIONS
This is what I think. I think then you would be conscious of the change that you actually made, but you would, in reality, be existing in the new time line. You would likely have a deja vu that you have been there before and you might just say to yourself: "I like it better this way." As for staying in the past permanently and redoing everything, you can ... But you might also consider redoing your life a section at a time (That is what I want to do) and then returning periodically to the present to your new timeline to see how it has changed. Either way would actually work. Or, still, after you have given your younger self all the advice it needs, you could come back to the present and enjoy the changes as a result of advising your younger self. At this point, you have options. I hope this helps.
Changing the past
butterfly
Does anyone think this is possible - to go back in time and change something so that a loved one does not die?
Existing in a different time-line i.e. one where that person is still alive - that would be fine- anywhere/any time - just a time/place where that person is still physically living.
I would value any opinions/advice.
changing the past
Hello,
I am also interested in going back in time to change something so that a loved one does not die. This loved one did not die of natural causes, but by medical neglilgence. I feel strongly that he was not meant to go yet and I have been looking for any way that I could to go back in time to change this event.
Has anyone been able to change the course of events by going back in time and if so how have these changes shown themselves in the present?
REGARDING ONE OF OUR PREVIOUS POSTS
I was very intrigued with the post by Philepides (did I spell it right?) Anyway....now.....when you woke up (this time at 9:00 a.m.) was it the same day? I think that is what you implied. Right? Wow, this is awesome! So....this does go to show that we really can control time. That is a perfect example of going back in time. So, did you end up keeping the luncheon date after all? I'm trying to make sure I read your post correctly. If so, this is a perfect example of fixing a situation by going back and redoing it. So, if that is true, then my theory that one can return to the "present" the very moment one left when going back to the "past" can happen too. In other words...let's say I leave the present on Friday at midnight to go to the past to change something and then return. I could discipline my mind that time is flexible enough that I can stretch it out or condense it and I could return to the present also at Friday at midnight. It would take a lot of practice, I'm sure. Know what? That way, we wouldn't be losing any time in the present. We would actually be stretching time between the present and the past. What do all of you think?
Yes.
I did end up going to lunch with my friend, and I agree with your ideas about stretching time. It has the potential to be incredible, and wonderful, and fun. Take a few years of serious discipline and then redo any and everything you've ever done in life which you regret. Seems too good to be true, but God's a heck of a being. :)
