I have held the belief for a number of years that freewill is a fate in its self. When I set an action into motion, it acts on everything else as a fate. It was fate that you met me, but also it was both our freewill to do so. Freewill is this just an independent form of fate, and fate is a collective system of freewill.
Ex. I may will to shoot a target with an arrow, but as I shoot the string breaks and the arrow falls to the ground. The string has no choice over its state, so freewill is not the term we would use, but in a way it does have a freewill that unless acted on by another force it will stay the way it is. So the friction and decay broke down the string causing it to stop my will from happening. That outcome is the destiny of the events.
Or imagine a ball floating through space, it will continue its path unless something acts on it. Its movement is like freewill. Any force that acts on it is fate. the outcome of the two is the destiny. At least thats how I view it

Been asking myself the same question once. So I searched the net about fate, freewill, and destiny. There's this one comment I found which helped me understand. It says:
"Life is like a game of cards. The cards that you are dealt with are fated, but how you play your hand is entirely up to you. Hold them or fold them, it's your freewill."

It must be a very interesting twist. Free will and destiny must be possible. Would you suppose if might be that....the lives we are living now are lived according to our free will. But are they? So, I decide to go back and recreate my past. Ok? But, here's a possible twist...Bet it's already written in the timeless universe. It's an interesting interplay.
The curved lines along the length of the magnet are like our freewill while the nodes represent our fate.
There are certain experiences we are destined to go through and certain lessons we are fated to learn. We are free to choose the way we live our lives, but at some point we will meet our fate.
The way we live our lives has much to do with how we experience that fate.

Complimentary Contradictions
We live in a duality where any statement of Truth is complimented by what at first appears to be a contradiction.
