Sunday School

Louise meets with class in Clinton, CT

"Sunday School" now meets the first and third Sundays of the month, scheduled around Louise's travel schedule that tends to pick up speed in the Spring and Fall. Any changes will be posted on the "News" section.

ouise is giving new meaning to "Sunday School!" When Louise was growing up, her mother played the church organ at the La Cañada Presbyterian Church. Little did her mother know that her twins, Lane and Louise, would occasionally (and irreverently) pocket their collection money and slip out from their Sunday School class to buy a cone at the Frosty Freeze. There are those who truly gain spiritual sustenance from organized religion, and those whose early religious experiences left them a bit skeptical about "religious" truly connoting "spiritual."

"Sunday School" in Clinton, Connecticut, Louise's new hometown, has been launched in January 2004, meeting every Sunday afternoon in Louise's home, when she is not on tour. [Classes may soon be available—"virtually"—for those who wish to join in by teleconferencing. We will keep you updated here.]

In class, a devout Catholic shares how meaningful the religion of her upbringing does remain spiritually satisfying to her, but she seeks to know and experience life from a more metaphysical perspective. Others express an emptiness that has yet to be filled with a greater sense of purpose and a deeper feeling of connection to life—as well to others and to the Source.

Louise seeks to facilitate a new understanding of an intimate link to the Source—one that never went away—regardless of dogma and early influences that leave some living in the present with more guilt and less validation. Equally necessary to remedy: the serious doubt that many carry about being unconditionally loved while being guided through a greater plan unfolding.

Each ongoing class will include a dialogue with Louise, "tuning-in," metaphysical adventures and meditations.
Class fee: $20

Seeing More Truth
R.F. in Killingworth, CT

I've thought so much about last week's class and how it has already changed my perceptions. I so appreciate any and every portal I encounter that cracks the illusion a bit so I can see more of the truth. What good fortune to have you come into my world!

Where the Knowledge Lies
M.B. in Trumbull, CT

Years ago, I was looking for answers, and people who had answers and would share them. I have since come to realize that this knowledge lies within me, as it does in all of us, and that I am best suited for answering my own questions. For me, this class is an opportunity to bounce around ideas in a forum of people who share the metaphysical point of view. Something else you might say: Very few of us have all the answers or we wouldn't be here. See you on Sunday.

Reporting Benefits
L.G. in East Greenwich, RI

I just wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying Sunday school. I didn't tell you all the benefits just last week. I was more in the moment, not only with family, which is always my goal, but at work, meetings, writing reports, etc. I accomplished two wonderful things last week and although the outcome was the same as it would have been anyway, I felt elated and so satisfied. It was significant. I also have been feeling like my prayer is inadequate and now I feel like I'm doing a better job. I want you to know how much I love your work and how much my life has already been effected. Thank you.
